We’re building a new kind of medical spa—modern, approachable, and rooted in clinical excellence. Our flagship location in Chicago is set to open soon, and we’re looking for a hands-on, operations-minded Practice Director to help bring our vision to life. This is a foundational leadership role with long-term growth potential as the company scales.
The Practice Director will oversee daily operations from pre-opening through full-scale service delivery. This role is responsible for both clinical and administrative functions, ensuring smooth execution across all areas of the business. The ideal candidate is process-oriented, team-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Opening / Startup
- Support clinic setup, licensing, and vendor coordination
- Help define workflows, the patient journey, and standard operating procedures
- Assist in initial hiring and onboarding of staff
Team Leadership
- Hire, train, and supervise clinical and administrative teams
- Build staff schedules that align with client demand and team capacity
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and individual coaching
Operations & Client Experience
- Oversee daily operations of the front desk and treatment rooms
- Monitor appointment flow and address client concerns professionally
- Ensure consistency in service quality and client experience
Financial & Inventory Oversight
- Assist with budgeting, tracking expenses, and reporting on revenue goals
- Oversee inventory for skincare products, injectables, and medical supplies
- Ensure accurate billing, payment processing, and membership program management
Marketing & Growth
- Collaborate with the marketing team on local campaigns and in-house events
- Track KPIs and identify opportunities to improve service offerings or scheduling efficiency
Compliance & Industry Standards
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Stay up to date on industry trends and introduce ideas aligned with brand positioning
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of experience in a medspa or boutique healthcare environment
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and customer service instincts
- Comfortable with EMR, POS, and scheduling platforms
- High attention to detail and a calm, solutions-oriented approach
- Interest in long-term growth within a scaling organization
