Job Description

Full-time dermatology office manager is requested at a growing medical and cosmetic practice in West Village, Manhattan with a board certified dermatologist. The applicant must be a highly motivated, responsible, and adaptable individual who can work closely with the physician owner to nurture a healthy growth of the practice that is consistent with its branding.


Responsibilities include overseeing the daily operations of the practice, hiring and firing of staff, training staff members, identifying operational inefficiencies, ensuring the execution of established office policies, identifying and managing the needs of staff and patients, working with the biller to recover unpaid balances, assisting with front desk duties and scheduling of patients when needed, and creating strategies for growth of the practice.


College degree and at least three years of work experience in dermatology is required. The applicant must have strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, management skills to maintain a professional work environment, and working knowledge of medical insurances and cosmetic procedures. The practice values professionalism, growth, and integrity. Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits include health care, paid time off, and participation in a 401K plan.
