Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP-C) with a strong interest in aesthetic plastic surgery. This role will involve close collaboration with our renowned surgical team, playing a vital role in all aspects of patient care — from initial consultation through surgery and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operating room during surgical procedures (suture/closure skills)
- Perform comprehensive preoperative assessments and postoperative evaluations
- Provide patient education, including surgical preparation, recovery expectations, and aftercare - ensure complete preparation of patient's understanding of preoperative instructions and post operative protocol.
- Conduct follow-up appointments and wound care
- Collaborate with the surgeon and admin staff to ensure seamless continuity of care
- Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with medical and legal standards
- Support and enhance patient experience through exceptional bedside manner and clear communication with team.
Qualifications:
- Valid California PA or NP license (required)
- Surgical experience preferred; plastic surgery or aesthetics experience strongly desired
- BLS and ACLS certification (required)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence in patient care
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a high-performing team
- Professional demeanor with a passion for aesthetic medicine and patient satisfaction
