Job Description

Skin Health Consultant (SHC)

As a ZO® Skin Health Consultant, your duties include providing excellent customer service, meeting and exceeding selling goals, educating clients on the benefits of following the ZO® Skin Health protocols, recommending products and services best suited

to each client, developing a loyal clientele, maintaining presentation standards, skincare demonstration and non-selling responsibilities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Greet and engage each client enthusiastically.
  • Actively listen to your clients to better understand their specific concerns and create a more personalized shopping experience.
  • Maintain customer service and selling as the number 1 priority.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of store products and services and use this knowledge to build sales, offering every client related items to drive multiple unit sales pointing out key features and benefits.
  • Develop and regularly update clientele and schedule routine follow-ups to ensure satisfaction of the program.
  • Achieve sales goals while displaying prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and professional behavior.
  • Attend periodic training seminars to enhance product knowledge.
  • Adhere to shortage control and compliance procedures.
  • Promote teamwork.
  • Understand and properly execute all systems and procedures to ensure a quick and efficient transaction.
  • Handle returns graciously, always saying yes and involving a manager when judgments need to be made.
  • Comprehend and maintain department standards and procedures.
  • Share equally in the operational responsibilities of the Centre as client traffic allows.
  • Adhere to weekly work schedules and be flexible to the needs of business.
  • Maintain merchandise presentation standards of Centre and ensure merchandise is replenished on the selling floor following all visual and housekeeping procedures.
  • Take initiative to present and sell merchandise in a professional and proficient manner through product demonstrations
  • Proactively seek opportunities to recommend creative strategies and participate in special events which will impact the Centre’s overall business performance.


SKILL SUMMARY:

A successful SHC is one that has strong client service and communication skills, enthusiasm for success, self-motivation, the ability to work with the needs of client flow and the creativity to constantly drive the business.

  • Previous selling experience and knowledge of the cosmetic industry a plus.
  • Ability to build relationships, solve problems, and influence others.
  • Possesses drive and is goal-oriented.
  • Demonstrates an energetic, enthusiastic, friendly, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and learn new procedures.
  • Proficient in register transactions and is adaptable to new technology.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and management.
  • A team player who possesses the ability to work in a learning environment.
