Position Overview

  • We are seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and motivated Physician Assistant to join our team. This role emphasizes Direct Primary Care (DPC) and wellness. You’ll manage ongoing patient relationships, provide comprehensive health services, and deliver wellness treatments in a supportive, team-based environment.
  • Primary Care: Providing patient-centered primary care for adults, including wellness exams, chronic condition management, urgent care visits, and preventive health services.
  • Wellness Medicine: Guiding patients through personalized programs including weight management, hormone therapy, peptides, IV therapy, functional injectables and shockwave treatments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based primary care to adult and adolescent patients in collaboration with a supervising physician.
  • Provide patient consultations, assessments, and ongoing care in wellness programs (weight loss, hormones, peptides, shockwave therapy, etc.).
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, develop and implement treatment plans, and prescribe medications as authorized under Oregon law and within the scope of the collaborative practice agreement.
  • Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and thyroid disorders.
  • Promote wellness through education, lifestyle counseling, and preventive health screenings.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and medical associates to deliver seamless patient care.
  • Perform minor office-based procedures and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests within the PA’s scope of training and delegation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation in the EMR system.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Stay current on medical trends, best practices, and continuing education relevant to primary and preventive care.

Qualifications

  • Current and unrestricted Oregon Physician Assistant license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred; experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or preventive health strongly desired.
  • Excellent clinical judgment and patient care skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills; enjoys connecting with patients and making them feel comfortable.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and wellness-focused medicine.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-based care model with physicians, nurses, and clinical support staff.
  • Interest in both traditional and integrative approaches to care.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with integrative or functional medicine approaches.
  • Experience managing hormone therapy, weight management, and wellness programs.
  • Comfort using electronic medical records (EMR) and teleheath platforms.
  • Experience working in collaborative or physician-led envoirnments.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $120,000 – $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
