Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role focuses primarily on back-office operations, assisting with treatment prep, sterilization, inventory management, patient charting, and general support to ensure a smooth workflow for our providers. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize treatment rooms before and after appointments
- Assist providers with non-invasive treatments as needed
- Maintain clean and sterile instruments according to protocols
- Manage inventory of medical and spa supplies; place orders as needed
- Update and maintain patient charts in EMR system
- Handle back-office administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and organizing records
- Support providers during procedures by preparing materials and ensuring readiness
- Comply with HIPAA and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (preferred) or equivalent experience in a clinical/aesthetic setting
- Minimum 1–2 years pf experience in a med spa, dermatology, or aesthetic medical office (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
- Comfort working with aesthetic devices and medical equipment (training provided)
