A nationally recognized, top-performing aesthetics practice is seeking a board-certified Physician (MD or DO) to serve as Medical Director and help carry forward its brand and legacy. This is a high-profile leadership role with a flexible structure, consisting primarily of remote oversight with 1 to 2 monthly onsite visits in Newport Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, leadership, and a passion for advancing excellence in aesthetics.
This position combines clinical oversight with the option to perform advanced aesthetic procedures. With in-person visits limited to 1 to 2 times per month for oversight and treatments, it is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking leadership responsibilities with flexible income potential.
Role Highlights
- Provide medical oversight for advanced practice providers and RNs, ensuring compliance, patient safety, and high clinical standards
- Option to perform minimally invasive procedures, including injectables, body contouring, facial rejuvenation, and energy-based treatments, with training available if desired
- Collaborate with leadership on treatment protocols, innovation, and safety initiatives
- Serve as a key clinical leader supporting the growth of a premier aesthetics practice
Qualifications
- Active California medical license (M.D. or D.O.)
- Board certification required
- Cosmetic medicine experience strongly preferred; wellness, regenerative medicine, or dermatology background a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and commitment to quality patient care
- Willingness to train in or expand procedural expertise in energy-based devices and injectables
- Residency within commuting distance of Newport Beach preferred, though remote oversight is central to the role

Key Responsibilities
