We're looking for an experienced Medical Assistant who brings both clinical polish and genuine warmth to every patient interaction.
The Role
As our Medical Assistant, you'll be the clinical backbone of the provider schedule. You'll keep treatment days running smoothly, prepare patients and rooms with precision, and help deliver the elevated, concierge-level care our patients expect. This role is ideal for someone who already understands the pace and polish of aesthetic medicine and wants to grow with a practice that invests in its people.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients, review medical history, take vitals, and document accurately in the EMR
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies for injectables, laser, and skin procedures
- Assist providers during procedures, including neurotoxin, dermal filler, energy-based devices, and minor in-office surgical procedures
- Take standardized before-and-after clinical photography
- Apply topical anesthetics and provide pre- and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain sterilization, infection-control, and OSHA compliance standards
- Manage inventory, product ordering, and lot-number tracking
- Field patient calls and follow-ups, triaging clinical questions to providers
- Support consultations by educating patients on treatment options, skincare, and aftercare
- Contribute to a calm, luxurious, and confidential patient experience
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience in Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, or a Medical Spa
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited MA program
- Current BLS certification
- Working knowledge of aesthetic procedures, terminology, and aftercare
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- Polished, professional presence and excellent communication skills
- Availability for some evenings or Saturdays as scheduled
Preferred
- National MA certification (CCMA, CMA, or RMA)
- Experience assisting with surgical or laser procedures
- Familiarity with aesthetic platforms such as Nextech, PatientNow, Aesthetic Record, or Zenoti
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
