Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Aesthetician to provide exceptional, clinical skincare treatments and counsel our patients on their at-home skincare needs. Our medical spa is a high-end boutique in downtown NYC offering professional facials, peels, microdermabrasion, micro-needling, Hydrafacials, and other medical spa skincare treatments to our clients. The right candidate must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, all skin types, acne and pre- and post-treatment protocols where applicable. They must have excellent facial massage and skin extraction techniques, possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills, and be willing to train in our spa’s specific facial treatment offerings. Experience with PRP, RF micro-needling and IPL laser treatments is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult and treat patients for all their clinical skincare needs, including working with our lead NP to cross-refer injectable, laser and wellness treatments as applicable.
- Administer medical facials and skin treatments including chemical peels, dermaplaning, micro-needling, Hydrafacial, Diamond Glow, AquaGold,
- Manage and interact regularly with our skincare product and equipment vendors to best meet our client needs and maintain knowledge of traditional and new skincare techniques.
- Work with practice management to interact with our local community, provide education to prospective customers, and contribute photo / video content for social media and marketing efforts.
- Work collaboratively with our staff, medical director and lead NP clinician to provide the best and highest quality experience for our clients
Qualifications
- Possess a current NY aesthetician license
- Minimum 5 years experience in skincare industry and medical spa experience
- Excellent time management, communication, computer and social media skills
- Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to abide by HIPPA and respect client confidentiality
