About the Opportunity

A growing aesthetic medical training institute in Sandy Springs is seeking an experienced Georgia Senior Laser Practitioner to join its educator team and lead hands-on training in laser and energy-based devices.

The institute was created with a mission to raise the standard of aesthetic medical education by providing comprehensive training with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning. Its initial programs include laser and energy-based devices and injectable treatments, with plans to expand into additional areas of aesthetic and regenerative medicine.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced laser professional who is passionate about education and wants to share their expertise while continuing in their current clinical or professional role.

This is not a traditional full-time position. The role is structured as a flexible 1099 contractor opportunity, with classes offered based on student enrollment.

The Role

The laser and energy-based device curriculum has already been developed. As a Lead Educator, your primary focus will be bringing that curriculum to life through engaging instruction, hands-on demonstrations, and practical training.

We are looking for someone who not only has advanced technical knowledge of lasers and energy-based devices, but also genuinely enjoys teaching, mentoring, and helping others build confidence in their skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on instruction for laser and energy-based device courses
• Educate students on safe and effective treatment techniques, device operation, treatment principles, and best practices
• Demonstrate proper techniques and provide individualized feedback during hands-on training
• Create an engaging, supportive, and professional learning environment
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource and mentor for students throughout their training
• Collaborate with the institute's leadership and education team to deliver a consistent, high-quality student experience
• Represent and support the institute's brand and educational mission
• Participate in occasional social media and marketing efforts to help promote courses and the institute

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Senior Laser Practitioner license strongly preferred
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with lasers and energy-based devices
• Advanced understanding of laser treatments, energy-based technologies, treatment techniques, and safety
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Natural ability to teach, explain concepts clearly, and work with students at varying experience levels
• Personable, professional, and comfortable leading a classroom and hands-on training environment
• Passion for aesthetic medicine, education, and professional development
• Previous training, education, mentorship, or leadership experience is highly valued

Exceptional candidates with extensive laser experience and a strong background in education may also be considered.

Schedule

This is a flexible 1099 contractor position, designed to complement an existing clinical or professional schedule.

Courses are expected to:

• Run approximately 1–2 times per month, depending on student enrollment
• Take place Monday through Thursday
• Include online didactic education followed by in-person, hands-on training
• Be held onsite in Sandy Springs, Georgia

The institute ultimately plans to build a team of educators who can teach based on course schedules and availability.

Compensation

Compensation is provided per class taught, with additional earning opportunities potentially available through student referrals and class enrollment incentives.
