Functional Health Provider- NP/PA

About the Practice

We are an established aesthetics and wellness practice committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in a welcoming and results-driven environment. We are launching a new Functional Health Program alongside our existing practice and are seeking an experienced provider to help build this service line from the ground up.

This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about holistic and integrative health and has experience with hormone optimization, gut health, thyroid health, weight management, peptide therapy, and other wellness-focused modalities.

As a foundational member of the team, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the program, developing patient care protocols, and helping grow the service line.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Functional Health Provider to lead patient consultations and ongoing care within our new Functional Health service line.

The ideal candidate has a proven background in functional or integrative medicine, strong clinical judgment, excellent patient communication skills, and the ability to work independently while helping develop a growing program.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient consultations, including medical history reviews, wellness assessments, hormone optimization, peptide therapy, weight management, and wellness panel reviews
• Develop and modify individualized treatment plans based on laboratory results, patient history, symptoms, and wellness goals
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory testing as appropriate
• Perform clinical procedures, including injections and subcutaneous pellet implantation
• Assess changes in patient health and prescribe medications and peptides as clinically appropriate
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient needs, treatment plans, and services in the medical record
• Communicate regularly with patients through the patient portal and provide timely, thoughtful follow-up
• Deliver an exceptional patient experience and build strong, long-term patient relationships
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to provide comprehensive and cohesive patient care
• Contribute to the development and growth of the Functional Health Program
• Stay current with developments in functional, integrative, and wellness medicine through ongoing education
• Maintain all required state licensing and comply with applicable clinical, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Follow HIPAA requirements and all practice confidentiality policies

Qualifications

• Active NP or PA license with the ability to practice in the state
• Prior experience in functional, integrative, or wellness-focused medicine required
• Experience with one or more of the following:
• Hormone optimization
• Peptide therapy
• Weight management
• Thyroid health
• Gut health
• Wellness/laboratory panel interpretation
• Other functional medicine modalities
• Experience with injections and/or subcutaneous pellet implantation preferred
• Existing patient following is a plus
• Strong clinical judgment, analytical skills, and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent patient communication and consultative skills
• Comfortable working in a growing environment and helping build a new service line
• Proficiency with EMR systems
• Highly compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
