About the Role
A leading plastic surgery and medical aesthetics practice is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of its high-end, fast-paced location in Palo Alto.
This role is central to ensuring smooth day-to-day workflows, exceptional patient experiences, and cohesive team communication. You’ll work closely with leadership to oversee scheduling, operational processes, staff support, and service quality — all while maintaining the elevated standards expected in a premium aesthetics environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Practice Manager in managing scheduling, patient flow, inventory, vendor coordination, and ensuring all workspaces meet cleanliness, compliance, and readiness standards.
Provide hands-on leadership through coaching, training, and performance development; foster a team culture grounded in accountability, respect, and effective communication. - Model and promote high-quality patient care by addressing concerns, following up on feedback, and driving initiatives to enhance overall patient satisfaction and loyalty.
- Facilitate daily huddles, staff meetings, and internal updates to ensure team alignment and support a collaborative work environment.
- Assist with reporting, KPI tracking, financial reconciliation, scheduling utilization, and initiatives that support clinic revenue and performance goals.
Identify and implement enhancements to systems, policies, and procedures that improve efficiency, service quality, and compliance; support leadership with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a medical aesthetics, dermatology, or plastic surgery environment (lead or supervisory experience preferred).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; able to build trust and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Grace under pressure, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Professional, polished presentation consistent with the L&P Aesthetics brand.
- Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 40 lbs.
