Job Description: Assistant Manager
Position Overview:
The Assistant Manager at our clinic will play a key role in driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing the daily operations of the sales floor. This individual will report and work closely with the Sales and Studio Manager and take many of their responsibilities when they are not present. The Assistant Manager will help create a welcoming and professional environment for clients while supporting the sales and marketing strategies of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform routine client-facing system tasks, including new account setup, scheduling, canceling, and rebooking appointments; product, service, or membership purchases; and other general account needs as requested.
· Ensure that the store is client-ready, including cleaning, tidying, and restocking the common area and bathrooms
· Demonstrating retail product and service knowledge, assisting clients with product and service recommendations
· Drive sales performance by meeting and exceeding sales goals.
· Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every client has a positive experience.
· Educate clients on our services and membership options.
· Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
· Act as a brand ambassador for our, maintaining professional, friendly, and knowledgeable communication.
· Provide feedback to the management team on sales and client feedback.
· Ensure that the retail area is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing to customers.
· Help maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with product ordering.
· Assist in opening and closing duties.
Qualifications:
· Experience in retail sales, with a minimum of 5 years in a customer-facing role (preferably in health, beauty, or wellness industries).
· Must be willing to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction
· Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a wide range of personalities
· Must have outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills
· Must have a positive, can-do attitude
· Must have friendly and professional phone and email etiquette
· Must have excellent organizational skills
· Must be able to kneel, bend, reach, climb and stand for long durations of time
· Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30lbs
· Must be able to work morning, evening, and weekend shifts as necessary
· Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is a plus.
