Job Description

At LRM, the Area Sales Director is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets within a specific geographical area. This position involves leading and managing a team of sales professionals, building strong client relationships, and ensuring the achievement of area sales goals. The Area Sales Director will work closely with other departments to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives and contribute to the company's success. While managing budgets within corporate expectations and make business decisions in best interest of overall organization and measure budget management of team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales goals and market share expansion. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities. Set sales targets, goals, and objectives for the regional sales team.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team performance goals. Train, manage and model proper compliance and business ethics standards. Provide coaching, training, and development to enhance sales skills and product knowledge. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Sales Execution and Performance: Manage and oversee the sales pipeline to ensure timely progression of leads and opportunities. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Implement corrective actions to address underperformance and maximize sales results.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners within the region. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking and prospecting. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Attend society meetings, trainings (internal and external), and educational events for faculty and KOL engagement and development.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and team activities to senior management. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies and processes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business goals. Contribute to the development of marketing materials and sales enablement tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in Medical Aesthetics: sales roles (5-7+ years) and sales management role (3-5+ years)
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
