Position Title: Lead Medical Aesthetician

Department: Esthetic Services

Reports to: Spa Manager/Medical Director

Location: Raleigh, NC

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Medical Aesthetician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll deliver a variety of advanced skincare and aesthetic treatments using state-of-the-art technology in a supportive, high-performing environment.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with aesthetic services and devices such as Hydrafacial, SkinPen, etc. exceptional client communication skills, and a true passion for helping others look and feel their best. Our aesthetic team is a close-knit group of warm, talented professionals who take pride in providing transformative results and an outstanding guest experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform professional skin care and device-based services, including:
  • HydraFacials, microneedling treatments, and other hydro-dermabrasion modalities
  • Exfoliation, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and microdermabrasion
  • Customize facial and body treatments, crafting personalized sessions and recommending home-care regimens to achieve desired results
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, pre- and post-care, and skincare maintenance
  • Safeguard the patient experience by maintaining confidentiality, safety standards, and a pristine work environment
  • Support and uphold a positive, team-oriented culture
  • Promote products, services, packages, and memberships through confident consultation and education

Device & Treatment Expertise (Preferred Experience)

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with advanced medical-grade aesthetic technologies and an eagerness to stay at the forefront of innovation.

Preferred experience includes:

  • HydraFacial Treatments: Multi-step deep cleansing and hydration protocols
  • Med Spa Setting Experience
  • Understanding safe combination therapies and treatment layering

Additional qualifications:

  • Strong grasp of skin anatomy, indications, contraindications, and device safety
  • Commitment to ongoing education and training on emerging technologies
  • Ability to educate and build trust with patients

Experience & Requirements

  • Current North Carolina Esthetician License
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or physician-led medical setting
  • Polished, professional presentation and demeanor
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift (up to 20 lbs)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, professional skin care and aesthetic treatments in a medical practice setting.
  • Perform advanced skin care treatments: facials, Hydrafacial, chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, acne, etc.
  • Conduct through client consultations: skin analysis and treatment planning based on medical history, goals, and budget,
  • Collaborate with medical providers to ensure safe and effective treatment outcomes.
  • Knowledge of commonly used skincare product treatments and recommend medical-grade skincare products ethically and effectively..
  • Provide exceptional patient care with a focus on safety, comfort, and results.

Qualifications

  • Active Esthetician License (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical setting
  • Deep knowledge of skincare products and protocols
  • Professional, reliable, self-motivated, and excited to contribute to a growing practice
  • Strong consultation and communication skills with a patient-first mindset
  • Strong sales and retail experience
