Position Summary:  Responsible for analyzing and providing customized skincare treatments to women, men and teens. This position will provide a customized variety of services, procedures, and products to help improve and maintain the health of a patient’s skin.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned. 

• Perform injections: Botox/Dysport, Fillers, etc. 

• Prepares patients for treatment, positions instruments and equipment, interviews patients, explains procedures and treatments to patient to ensure understanding

• Observes each patient, records significant conditions and reactions

• Records all pertinent information in patient’s chart, accurately codes all services provided

• Consults with patients regarding skin care needs, procedures, outcomes, problems, etc.

• Oversees and provides skin care and cosmetic products for patients

• Maintains inventory of products and reports on sales of products

• Maintain patient confidentiality and data integrity in accordance with Health Information Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA)

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high quality and excellent customer service

• Participate in department or unit quality improvement activities

Experience Requirements 

• Experience working in a medical setting; dermatology or plastic surgery preferred

• 1+ year of injecting experience

Education, Licensure & Certification Requirements 

• Must be a graduate of an accredited program

• Maintain appropriate state RN licensure

• Current CPR certification

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements 

• Ability to communicate in an active multi-office environment

• Ability to efficiently operate all job-related office equipment 

• Ability to follow or provide verbal and written instructions

• Basic to intermediate computer operation

• Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
