Join us at our busy dermatology practice and become an integral part of a team dedicated to serving our patients. As an Aesthetic Medical Assistant, your role goes beyond medical assisting to offer amazing customer service to every patient and embracing our patient-focused culture. We are a multi-clinic practice that is privately owned and operated by our physician practice owners.
We are seeking a friendly and team-oriented medical assistant with a passion for aesthetics and a commitment to patient satisfaction to join us in Atlanta, GA (BUCKHEAD). As an aesthetic medical assistant, you will play an instrumental role in guiding patients through their aesthetic journey, assisting our master injectors, collaborating with the Aesthetic team, and performing medical assistant skills and duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Elevate Patient Experience: Follow-up by phone with all patients the day after a new procedure, return phone messages, emails, and texts from patients in coordination with other staff.
- Patient Retention: Reviewing the next day’s schedule to make confirmation calls, rescheduling all future and follow-up appointments, reaching out to patients that may have missed an appointment.
- Educating Patients: We set patient’s up for success by informing them of pre and post procedure instructions, answering their questions about the products and services we offer through phone, patient portal email, and text.
- Prepared for a Frictionless Patient Experience: Prepping treatment rooms for the next days’ treatments, stocking treatment rooms, mixing Botox, Dysport, making ice packs, and other duties to ensure a quality patient experience.
- Superior Patient Service In-Clinic: Take before and after photos, get consent forms signed, documentation within our EMR system (experience with EMA is a plus!), assisting patients with rewards programs, assisting the physician by prepping injections and
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a dermatology, plastics, or other multi-provider medical office
- Exceptional communication skills; both written and oral
- Georgia medical assistant License current
- Enjoys working as a team
- Dedication to maintaining and participating in a positive and collaborative work environment where we celebrate the successes of the entire team
- Strong active listening skills--we want our patients to feel heard
