Job Description

Summary: The Aesthetic Injector will provide specialized healthcare services, including toxin injections, fillers, chemical peels, and micro-needling. This role requires a balance of strong clinical skills and patient management expertise to ensure treatments are conducted safely and effectively. You will develop tailored treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and address any complications, all while maintaining a patient-centered approach and adhering to safety protocols. The Aesthetic Injector will work alongside other wellness professionals, creating a fun, family-oriented culture for patients and staff.

 

Essential Duties: Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.

 

§ Conduct thorough medical histories and physical assessments of patients.

§ Evaluate skin type, conditions, and treatment goals.

§ Discuss aesthetic concerns, treatment options, and potential risks with patients.

§ Develop tailored aesthetic treatment plans based on individual patient needs.

§ Perform aesthetic procedures including chemical peels, toxin injections (e.g., Botox, Dysport), filler injections (e.g., hyaluronic acid fillers), micro-needling with platelet-rich plasma (PRP),

§ Monitor patients for immediate adverse reactions during and after procedures.

§ Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.

§ Maintain accurate and clear medical records for each patient interaction and procedure.

§ Document informed consent and post-care instructions.

§ Conduct follow-up appointments to assess patient outcomes and satisfaction.

§ Address any complications or concerns from previous procedures.

§ Monitor and order supplies and medications needed for aesthetic procedures.

§ Collaborate with other healthcare providers (e.g., medical director) regarding patient care.

§ Engage in continuing education, workshops, or training to stay informed on the latest techniques and best practices in aesthetic procedures.

§ Review and evaluate patient outcomes and satisfaction metrics.

§ Participate in marketing efforts, social media promotion, or community events to attract and educate potential patients.

§ Ensure all practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations regarding aesthetic procedures.

§ Renew necessary certifications and licenses as required.

 

§ Update clinic policies and procedures to align with the latest guidelines and advancements in aesthetic medicine.

§ Provide educational seminars or workshops for patients on skin health, treatments, and

aftercare.

§ Handle any adverse events or complications related to procedures, which may require immediate intervention and care, potentially leading to emergency procedures or referrals.

§ Participate in clinical trials or research studies related to aesthetic treatments, if applicable.

§ Attend conferences or joining professional organizations focused on aesthetics to increase

knowledge and industry networking.

§ Uphold ethical standards in patient care, ensuring patient autonomy, dignity, and privacy are

respected at all times.

§ Assist with financial aspects of the practice, including aesthetic procedure patient billing.

§ Guided by the company’s mission, vision and values, interact in a professional, compassionate, and friendly manner with all clients and coworkers.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: The Nurse Practitioner has supervisory responsibility for members of the Aesthetics Department, including approximately two direct reports. Supervisory responsibilities include:

 

§ Assist in the hiring and training of new staff members.

Manage staff schedules, including time off requests, and ensure adequate staffing levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop tailored aesthetic treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
  • Perform aesthetic procedures including chemical peels, toxin injections (e.g., Botox, Dysport), filler injections, micro-needling with (PRP/exosomes),
  • Monitor and order supplies and medications needed for aesthetic procedures.
  • Participate in marketing efforts, social media promotion, or community events to attract and educate potential patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers (e.g., medical director) regarding patient care.
  • Update clinic policies and procedures to align with the latest guidelines and advancements in aesthetic medicine.

Qualifications

  • ARNP or PA-C equivalent degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with aesthetic procedures
  • Assist in the hiring and training of new staff members (direct reports and/or job share)
  • Assist in managing staff schedules, including time off requests, and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Preference given to applicants who have an existing book of business
  • Option to grow into an executive role after 3 years with the company
