The Prescription Access Specialist is responsible for driving engagement with healthcare providers (HCPs) and office staff to expand our prescription services utilization for dermatology medications. This role focuses on removing prescription access barriers, increasing medication fulfillment, and supporting HCPs in providing cost-effective solutions for patients.
A successful candidate will take ownership of their territory, leveraging a consultative approach to educate prescribers and staff on the online prescription services as a streamlined alternative for prescription fulfillment.
Key Responsibility Areas
- HCP Engagement & Education: Build and maintain strong relationships with providers, educating them on the prescription service solutions that enhance prescription accessibility and improve patient adherence.
- Prescription Fulfillment Growth: Drive adoption of the prescription service by strategically positioning the channel as a trusted, cost-effective, and hassle-free alternative to traditional prescription fulfillment.
- Market Development & Execution: Analyze territory trends and develop targeted access strategies to maximize script volume while ensuring seamless implementation of channel solutions.
- Patient Access Advocacy: Partner with HCP offices to help remove barriers to prescription access, providing actionable insights that allow prescribers to offer low-cost, easily fulfilled medication options.
- Business Performance & Sales Execution: Own and drive sales objectives within an assigned territory, proactively identifying opportunities for increased channel utilization and prescription conversion.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic HCP engagement plans to increase awareness and adoption of our prescription service.
- Collaborate with offices, prescribers, and pharmacy liaisons to drive seamless prescription fulfillment and patient access.
- Analyze prescribing trends and access barriers to position the channel as a viable solution.
- Educate healthcare professionals and staff on cost savings, formulary exclusions, and access hurdles that the channel can help address.
- Track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs), including prescription volume, fulfillment rates, and HCP adoption.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 1-2 years of direct B2B sales experience in a commission-based role;
- Strong presentation skills (both oral and written) required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Must have strong computer skills (including MS Office and Sales Force software)
Physical Requirements:
- Business travel required
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently
