The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of leading high-performing teams within plastic surgery, medical aesthetics, or dermatology. This individual is a strategic, hands-on leader with experience driving operational excellence, improving patient conversion, partnering on marketing initiatives, and fostering a culture of accountability and exceptional patient care. Success in human resources, financial oversight, and practice growth is essential. Experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Lead, coach, and develop patient care coordinators and front office staff to maximize patient experience, consultation conversion, and revenue growth.
- Establish sales goals, performance metrics, and accountability standards across the team.
- Optimize CRM utilization to strengthen lead management, patient engagement, and conversion.
- Analyze business performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and capacity.
Marketing & Practice Growth
- Partner with the marketing team to support patient acquisition, retention, and brand awareness initiatives.
- Collaborate on digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, reputation management, and promotional strategies.
- Build and maintain referral relationships with physicians and strategic community partners.
Human Resources & Leadership
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, payroll, and staff development.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team while fostering a collaborative, patient-first culture.
- Conduct performance evaluations, establish clear expectations, and drive accountability across departments.
Operations & Administration
- Oversee all aspects of daily practice operations, including scheduling, inventory, workflow optimization, compliance, and patient experience.
- Manage EMR/EHR systems to improve documentation accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Develop departmental budgets, monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and adherence to all regulatory and practice policies.
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions, including AI tools, to enhance operational efficiency and practice performance.
Qualifications
- Experience in plastic surgery, medical aesthetics, or dermatology required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of three years of medical practice management experience with direct leadership responsibility.
- Demonstrated success leading sales-driven teams and improving patient consultation conversion.
- Experience collaborating with marketing teams on patient acquisition and retention strategies.
- Hands-on experience with recruitment, onboarding, coaching, performance management, employee relations, and payroll.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR and CRM platforms.
- Strong financial acumen with experience budgeting, analyzing performance metrics, and driving operational growth.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience leveraging AI or other technology solutions to improve healthcare operations is a plus.
