A well-established, high-volume plastic surgery practice in Northern California is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead daily operations, drive practice growth, and develop a high-performing team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing strategic planning with day-to-day operational excellence.The ideal candidate has a strong background in plastic surgery, aesthetics, or dermatology, along with proven success leading sales-driven teams, collaborating on marketing initiatives, and overseeing human resources. Experience leveraging AI tools to improve operational efficiency is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Lead and coach patient coordinators and front office staff on consultative sales, objection handling, and conversion strategies.
- Establish and monitor sales goals, productivity metrics, and performance standards.
- Manage and optimize CRM systems to improve lead management, patient retention, and conversion.
- Analyze revenue streams and identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and patient experience.
Marketing & Patient Growth
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support patient acquisition and retention initiatives.
- Assist with branding, digital marketing, social media, reputation management, and promotional campaigns.
- Develop and maintain referral relationships with physicians and community partners.
Human Resources & Team Development
- Oversee recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, payroll, and staff development.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate team members while fostering a positive, accountable workplace culture.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and support professional growth.
Operations & Administration
- Oversee daily clinic operations, including front and back office workflows, scheduling, inventory, and compliance.
- Manage EMR/EHR systems to improve workflow efficiency and documentation.
- Develop and monitor departmental budgets while identifying opportunities to improve operational performance.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain secure clinical and administrative processes.
- Implement technology and AI tools that improve efficiency and support practice growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in plastic surgery, medical aesthetics, or dermatology is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a medical practice.
- Proven experience leading sales-focused teams and improving patient conversion.
- Experience partnering with marketing teams on patient acquisition and digital marketing initiatives.
- Hands-on HR experience, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and payroll.
- Experience with EMR/EHR and CRM platforms.
- Strong operational, financial, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with AI tools used in healthcare operations or marketing is a plus.
