Practice Operations Manager
Luxury Plastic Surgery Practice | Chicago, IL
A prestigious, concierge-level plastic surgery practice with two upscale Chicago locations is seeking an experienced Practice Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, optimize workflows, and support continued growth. This is an opportunity for a hands-on operations leader who thrives in a high-touch patient environment and understands the unique demands of a premium surgical practice. Working closely with the Practice Manager and physician leadership, this role will help streamline processes, improve efficiency, and ensure the practice delivers an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations across two practice locations
- Partner with the Practice Manager to improve operational efficiency and financial performance
- Develop, implement, and maintain practice protocols, workflows, and standard operating procedures
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and leverage technology to enhance efficiency
- Support a collaborative team culture while implementing new initiatives and improvements
- Manage inventory control, ordering processes, and vendor relationships
- Oversee accounts payable processes and support bookkeeping functions
- Coordinate and optimize OR scheduling workflows
- Assist with revenue tracking, projections, and operational reporting
- Ensure consistent execution of policies, procedures, and patient experience standards
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of management experience in a medical practice, plastic surgery, aesthetics, dermatology, or similar healthcare environment
- Experience managing operations within a high-touch, patient-focused practice
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with scheduling systems, CRM platforms, and practice management software
- Nextech experience strongly preferred/required
- Strong bookkeeping and financial management skills
- Experience with inventory management, purchasing, and operational reporting
- Proven leadership ability with a track record of improving processes and supporting teams
