We are a growing medical aesthetics and wellness practice seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our Knoxville office. Key Responsibilities
- Room patients, obtain vitals, update medical histories, and prepare exam rooms for scheduled treatments
- Assist medical providers with clinical and aesthetic procedures, ensuring smooth patient flow
- Provide clear, compassionate patient education and communication regarding treatment plans, medications, post-procedure care, follow-up instructions, test results, and next steps to ensure understanding, compliance, and continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment including supply management and room turnover
- Perform injections, phlebotomy, suture removal, dressing changes, and IV insertion and infusions (scope dependent on licensure), with accurate documentation of all treatments and patient care.
- Assist with inventory management, supply ordering, and controlled substance logs
Qualifications
- Active Tennessee LPN license or Medical Assistant certification
- 2–5+ years of experience in a medical office (aesthetics or wellness preferred)
- IV therapy experience preferred (required for LPNs)
- Strong communication skills with a professional, patient-centered demeanor, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to professionalism, a polished appearance, exceptional bedside manner, and alignment with a high-standard practice culture
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a clinical team, maintaining efficiency and accountability
