Job Description

Nurse Injector (Injectables + Laser Experience)

Location: Surrey, BC (Greater Vancouver Area)

Employment Type: Part-Time to Full-Time

Role Type: Founding Clinical Team Member

Reports To: Medical Director / Clinical Director

About the Opportunity

A well-established, highly reputable plastic surgery practice in the Greater Vancouver area is expanding into medical aesthetics and building out its founding injectable team.

This is a unique opportunity to join at the ground level of a growing aesthetic division—backed by the stability, patient base, and clinical standards of an already successful surgical practice.

The ideal candidate is a confident, patient-focused injector who is passionate about facial aesthetics, skin health, and delivering natural, high-quality outcomes. This role offers the ability to help shape clinical protocols, consultation workflows, and the overall patient experience from day one.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Services & Treatment Delivery
  • Perform injectable and device-based aesthetic treatments safely and effectively, including:
  • Neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, etc.)
  • Dermal fillers (hyaluronic acid and biostimulatory fillers, as trained)
  • Advanced laser and light-based treatments
  • Sciton experience strongly preferred (BBL, Moxi)
  • RF microneedling and other energy-based modalities (if trained)
  • Adhere to all medical director protocols, scope-of-practice regulations, and safety standards
  • Maintain a high level of precision, consistency, and aesthetic judgment
  • Ensure patient comfort, informed consent, and appropriate aftercare
Patient Consultations & Treatment Planning
  • Conduct comprehensive aesthetic consultations and facial assessments
  • Review patient intake forms and CIQ prior to treatment
  • Develop individualized, phased treatment plans aligned with patient goals and timelines
  • Clearly educate patients on:
  • Treatment options and expected outcomes
  • Risks, benefits, and alternatives
  • Pre- and post-treatment care
  • Use ethical, solution-based communication without pressure or upselling
Product & Retail Support
  • Recommend medical-grade skincare products to support and maintain results
  • Educate patients on long-term skin health and maintenance strategies
  • Support retail goals while maintaining trust, transparency, and clinical integrity
Collaboration & Team Integration
  • Work closely with aestheticians, front office, and leadership to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in daily huddles, treatment planning, and case discussions
  • Assist in refining protocols, services, and patient education materials
  • Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and clinical excellence
Documentation & Compliance
  • Complete accurate and timely charting in the EMR
  • Document treatment details, lot numbers, and patient education
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal SOPs
  • Support inventory tracking and responsible use of consumables
Who You Are
  • A skilled, confident injector who values natural, balanced outcomes
  • Patient-centered, ethical, and calm under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with strong clinical judgment
  • Comfortable working in a start-up environment and helping build systems
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to grow with the practice
  • Committed to ongoing education and advanced training
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP), licensed and in good standing
  • 3+ years of experience as an aesthetic injector preferred
  • Laser experience required; Sciton experience (BBL, Moxi) strongly preferred
  • Experience with RF microneedling and energy-based devices a plus
  • Strong understanding of facial anatomy, safety, and complication management
  • Prior experience in a medical spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, or cosmetic practice preferred
Why This Role Is Unique
  • Founding clinical team role with influence on protocols and patient experience
  • Opportunity to work with advanced injectables and state-of-the-art devices
  • Strong collaboration with medical leadership
  • Focus on comprehensive, long-term aesthetic planning—not transactional treatments
  • Competitive compensation, productivity incentives, and benefits options
  • Clear growth path as the practice expands
