Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on, hospitality-driven General Manager to lead the opening and ongoing operations of a new boutique property. Key Responsibilities


Guest Experience & Operations

  • Lead all day-to-day operations with a focus on personalized, high-touch service
  • Set the tone for an engaging, boutique guest experience
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements that enhance satisfaction
  • Oversee pre-opening preparations and establish operational systems and culture


Financial & Business Management


  • Develop and manage annual budgets and revenue goals
  • Monitor performance metrics, labor costs, and overall profitability
  • Partner with sales and marketing to drive occupancy and revenue targets


Team Leadership & Culture


  • Recruit, hire, and develop a dedicated, guest-focused team
  • Build schedules and workflows that support both efficiency and service quality
  • Lead coaching, performance management, and recognition programs
  • Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and ownership


Property & Compliance Oversight


  • Oversee housekeeping, maintenance, and safety programs
  • Ensure compliance with operational and brand standards
  • Manage property improvements to maintain boutique quality and aesthetic
  • Maintain proficiency with property management and HR systems

Education

  • Associate’s degree or higher preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in boutique or full-service hospitality
  • Proven track record in guest service excellence and team leadership
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet physical requirements typical of hospitality operations
  • Must be 21+ years of age and Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background and driving record check
