Our boutique Facial Plastic Surgery practice in Zionsville, Indiana is seeking a highly capable Director of Operations & Finance to play a pivotal leadership role during a period of anticipated growth and evolution. This position sits at the intersection of financial strategy, operational excellence, and people management, and is essential to supporting both exceptional patient care and the long-term success of the practice.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and brings strong financial acumen with the ability to translate data into thoughtful, strategic decisions. While the practice currently participates with select insurance plans, this represents a smaller and decreasing portion of the role as we intentionally streamline and reduce insurance-related complexity over the coming year.
This individual will work closely with the surgeon, leadership team, patients, and referring practices, requiring superior professionalism, discretion, and customer service skills. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial and marketing strategies to ensure the financial health and growth of the practice.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Analyze financial data to guide strategic decision-making.
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure the practice’s goals and objectives are met including leading staff meetings and keeping staff motived in a friendly work environment
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven organizational and operational excellence, with exceptional time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building ability, with experience guiding, supporting, and elevating a small, high-performing team
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
- Strong financial management skills and experience with financial analysis and reporting.
- Educational background in business or finance (Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced business training strongly preferred), with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly master practice management and EMR systems
- Professional, polished presence with the ability to represent the practice with discretion and confidence when interacting with patients, physicians, and external partners
