Job Description
Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA-C)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) with a passion for aesthetic medicine and plastic surgery. This provider will perform cosmetic consultations, develop customized treatment plans, deliver non-surgical aesthetic treatments, manage post-operative care, and work closely with the physician to provide an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities
Patient Care
- Perform cosmetic consultations and medical evaluations.
- Develop personalized treatment plans.
- Educate patients on treatment options, expectations, and aftercare.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation.
Aesthetic Treatments
Perform treatments including:
- Neurotoxins
- Hyaluronic acid fillers
- Biostimulators
- Laser treatments for pigmentation and vascular concerns
- Skin resurfacing
- Radiofrequency skin tightening
- Microneedling (including SkinPen®)
- CoolSculpting®
- Additional aesthetic procedures based on training and protocols
Surgical & Clinical Support
- Manage pre- and post-operative patient care.
- Conduct post-op follow-up visits and patient education.
- Assist during surgical procedures as needed.
- Participate in a rotating after-hours patient call schedule.
- Maintain treatment rooms, inventory, and compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and state regulations.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to deliver outstanding patient care and contribute to practice growth.
Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
- Active New York NP or PA license.
- National certification and DEA registration.
- Minimum 2 years of aesthetic medicine experience.
- Proficiency with neurotoxin and dermal filler injections.
- Strong understanding of facial anatomy and aesthetic assessment.
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient care skills.
- Experience in cosmetic plastic surgery is preferred.
