To whom it may concern:, In response to the job posting on the Facebook group “Marketing and Communications Women of Atlanta,” it is with great enthusiasm that I am applying to be a Marketing Project Manager. With over seven years of combined experience of internal and external health communications at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), I am eager to bring my skills., As you will note from my resume, I have a varied history of project and client management along with in-depth audience-focused communication product analysis. Currently, as part of one of the only internal communications teams at CDC, I led a small team to completely overhaul the Center newsletter into two streamlined newsletters based on months of metrics through Adobe Analytics (open rates, click through rates, etc.) and best communication best practices. I am constantly balancing multiple projects with a wide range of communication and technical expertise., Furthermore, I deployed internally for the COVID-19 emergency response to bridge the gap with end users using the new CDC COVID-19 website and the central communications office posting content and reorganizing the web infrastructure. I ran daily and weekly metrics on the newer COVID-19 pages using Adobe Analytics and reported common themes and high-level metrics. To analyze the qualitative content, I used the ACSI Analytics tool to find common themes amongst thousands of comments left by end users with the new web pages in ForeSee. Presenting the quantitative and qualitative analysis results in visually engaging PowerPoint slides to the team was crucial to help them to understand the overall user experience and improve the site., I have over 15 years of experience creating graphic design products in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, so I built on those skills by creating various banners, flyers, PowerPoint presentations, and brochures for multiple offices. I also created four high quality training videos by writing scripts, requesting feedback, and learning how to edit with Adobe Premiere Pro., My wide-ranging communication experiences and comprehensive training at Emory University demonstrate that I am qualified for this position.
